Who we are
Interviewr is operated by M. Burke, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, and registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under reference ZC185582. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this site. You can reach us at hello@interviewr.co.uk.
What we collect
- Job descriptions you paste — sent to our AI provider to generate questions. Not stored on our servers.
- Anonymous feedback — if you submit feedback, we store the message and rating only.
- Page views — we log the page path and an anonymous session ID for product analytics. No IP, no name, no email.
- Local storage — your most recent generated session is kept in your browser only (not on our servers).
- Email address (optional) — only if you tick the consent box and join the Interviewr community. We store your email, the date you signed up, and an unsubscribe token. We use it solely to send occasional interview tips and product updates. We never sell it or share it with third parties for marketing.
- Account data — if you create an account, we store your email, sign-in metadata, and a profile record so we can keep your saved sessions and subscription status.
- Saved practice sessions — when signed in, we store the questions, your answers, and AI feedback so you can revisit them from your history and dashboard.
- Civil Service Mode selections — the grade and Success Profiles behaviours you choose are saved with your session and used in aggregate (no personal identifiers) to improve question quality.
- Payment data — if you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details; we store only your Stripe customer/subscription ID, tier, and renewal status.
- Product analytics — anonymous events about which features and question types are used, used to improve the product. No advertising IDs, no third-party trackers.
How we store your email
Subscriber emails are stored in our secure cloud database (hosted in the EU). Access is restricted to the Interviewr team via a private admin dashboard. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribed addresses are flagged immediately so no further emails are sent.
What we do not collect
No advertising IDs, no third-party tracking cookies, no cross-site profiling. Anonymous visitors are not asked for any personal data.
Third parties (subprocessors)
- Supabase — hosted database, authentication, and storage (EU region).
- AI provider — generates interview questions, scoring, and STAR feedback from the content you submit.
- Stripe — processes subscription payments. Stripe is the data controller for card data; see stripe.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare — hosting, edge runtime, and DDoS protection.
These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate data-processing agreements and do not use it for their own marketing.
How long we keep data
Saved practice sessions and account data are retained while your account is active. If you delete your account or email us, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records for legal or accounting reasons (e.g. Stripe payment receipts).
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You can ask us to delete any data we hold at any time. Because we don't link data to identities, we can clear all browser-side data instantly, and remove server-side analytics on request. Delete my data.
